- My understanding is that you must have Silent Hunter IV installed on your computer and updated to version 1.4 (think that's right) for this to work. I believe you can get all the updates from Ubisoft's website for free. I believe the u-boat addition is considered 1.5.
- Nov 27, 2007 Silent Hunter IV: Wolves of the Pacific. This patch has been archived by the uploader because it is out of date and no longer supported. We recommend you browse the file list for the latest patch. Ubisoft have released a new patch for Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific which brings the game to version 1.4.

If its an older game you are playing and you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 it may not work, if you right click the .exe file and choose Properties and then Compatibility you can change this to run in Windows 98/ Windows 2000 etc. You can find more information on the Beginners Help page here
